The struggle between Haiti's Executive Branch and those represented as the Legislative arm of the Government is unbalanced in quantity on one hand and by quality of power on another. The Executive Branch, by number, is represented by the Haitian President and his elected Prime Minister. While these two are vastly outnumbered by the ninety-nine member Chamber of Deputies and also the Senate, the power is decidedly lodged on the unilateral side of the Executive Branch.
