Expedia making expansion in Haiti as new hotels opening

Expedia giving Haiti Tourism a Boost

Travel company Expedia has been expanding its presence in Haiti. In the past year travelers wanting to visit the island increased by almost 500% on Expedia's websites.

In 2014 Ministry of Tourism established 40 partnerships with Expedia, and new marketing manager, Maya de Campos, is committed to developing even more.

Tourism Minister Stephanie Villedrouin says the Expedia partnership will increase ". . . our exposure to markets around the world via marketing campaigns, strategic promotions, and the latest technology."
