Nothing last forever in Haiti. One of the relationships many think was made in heaven proved to be not. Me Newton Louis St. Juste and André Michel split as both men have great political ambitions and would not negotiate any alternative. Unfortunately, I believe both men will end up loosing as this only demonstrated they were engage in this fight with the current government for their own selfish gain.

Newton Saint Juste withdraws from Plateforme Justice over Ethical Concerns

Attorney Newton Saint Juste, who had wanted to run as nominee of Plateforme Justice in the presidential election, has withdrawn his membership in the party.

He had asked for democratic and transparent rules of the Articles of Justice to be used to validate his candidacy. The JP in denying his request went against its own principles.

JP instead chose his colleague Me Michel Andre to represent the party.

Newton Louis Saint Juste a Reluctant Presidential Candidate?

Newton Louis Saint Juste declared himself a candidate for the 2015 presidency on Zenith FM. If elected he would be the youngest president ever in Haiti's history.

Saint Juste though is acting skittish about his decision, evading questions posed by the media concerning the particulars of his candidacy.

Saint Juste is a public advocacy attorney, and will represent the JISTIS political party, certain to be heavily involved in the 2015 elections.

Senator Wencesclas assaulted Daniel Theodore of Protest Movement for Advancement of Coral Soult. Theodore confronted Wencesclas he neglected to fulfill commitments made to Jacmelienne citizens.

Wencesclas admitted he attacked Theodore giving ". . . him two punches . . . in the face!" When trying to file a complaint at the police station, Theodore was told Wencesclas ". . . enjoyed immunity . . ."

Theodore's prosecution team, Andre Michel and Newton Saint Juste, vowed they would get justice for Theodore.

Following this case, Attorney Newton saint Juste was involved in a case against the government of Michel Martelly where he stated that the president family has been involved on corruption

Haitian lawyer Newton Saint-Juste brought a legal suit against the wife of the Haitian president, Sophia Martelly and his son Olivier Martelly for two presidential decrees given them the authority to manage public funds. These Decrees that is contrary to the Haitian Constitution gave them authorization to run the program "Aba grangou" to create the Commission to Support the Coordination of Infrastructures for Sports. According to Haitian attorney Newton Saint-Juste these deals are valued at hundreds of millions of U.S.

Newton Saint-Juste stated that these acts by President Michel Martelly constitute a duplication of services and likely an excuse to squander the scarce funds in the country.
