On Friday night, May 6, 2016, in a major road accident in Coupe à Limbé (North) involving two trucks, resulted 12 deaths and many critically injured. According to the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) report, an overloaded truck carrying mostly "madan sara" and their merchandise, got overturned when it tried to avoid another truck broken down in the middle of the road. Ten people died on the spot. According to an assessment of the National Ambulance Centre (CAN), the number of deaths might be more, because some of the injured transported to the hospitals in Quartier Morin and Milot, were in critical conditions. Immediate rescue operation could not be started because of heavy rain.

Puilboreau Morne (Morne Puilboreau) is a mountain in the Northern Department of Haiti, located 798 meters above the sea level. Based on the peakery data, with its 2,438 feet or 743 meter mountain peak near Plaisance, it ranks as the 23rd highest mountain in the Nord and the 230th highest mountain in Haiti. The nearest peaks are Morne Chemin Neuf, Morne Laroche, Mercredi, Morne Boulaille, Morne Terre Rouge and Morne Bijou. Morne Puilboreau is an elevation standing high above-the surrounding area with small summit area, steep slopes and local relief of 300m or more in the county of Haiti. Its center lies at a latitude of 19.53333 and longitude of -72.46667.

Founded in 2003, Capital Coach Line, SA is the first Haitian bus company in the country. Capital Coach Line has quickly become a leader in its industry and a Haitian pride by serving as the first link, the road to Port-au-Prince / Santo Domingo, with daily departures.

When choosing a moto-bike, assess the driver as well as the bike. Older drivers tend to be more responsible and are less likely to take chances. Look out for zip-ties on the bike as well as its general fitness as they are allegories to the success of the driver. Look out for a driver with an extra helmet or two for passengers. Finally, when you find a good moto-taxi driver, keep him. Exchange numbers with your driver and call to check his availability when you plan on going out.

Here is a sign of a real plan for development in Haiti. The Haitian government has a plan to improve traffic condition in Port-au-Prince.
They will to build motorways over Carrefour and Delmas to alleviate traffic in these areas. Funding for the project is available and work expected to start soon.
