Although she is not very popular in Haiti and among Haitians in the Diaspora yet, Stevy Mahy is an international artist.

Stevy Mahy was born in Paris but spent part of his childhood in Guadeloupe where her parents are from. She is a true Creole woman.
growing up in a family where both mother and father are musicians and singers, it is only natural that Stevy Mahy would be in love with music. She recorded "mama DEPI or pati" or "I want a little brother "with his mother, that the age of 9 years.

Haitian comedian Papa Pye, AKA Jean-Claude Joseph

Here is a picture of Jean-Claude Joseph, aka Papa Pye, King of Haitian Comedy and Roland Berthold. Papa Pye who sometimes refers to himself as Father Peter was born in Petion-Ville but also lived in Bas-Peu-Chose and Carrefour

His popularity started in the 1980s when he starred in the popular comedy series "La Vie Nan Bouk La". This series was loved by many and displayed the high talent of the actor Jean-Claude Joseph as well as many who performed in the show.

From the series, Papa Pye, AKA Jean-Claude Joseph moved onto a successful film career. He starred in over 20 movies. He is a train karate instructor, having achieved his black belt.
