Development plan for Desdunes
The new development plan for the Artibonite Department town of Desdunes, will bring in much needed community committees through the initiative of three planned activities. The population of the town, which lies less than a hundred miles from Port-au-Prince, was said to be just over 20,000 at the last reading. These people are set to benefit much from the plans as they involve a focus on the agricultural, health and education sectors, plus a look at culture and other related priorities.
