No good deed goes unappreciated. That was the motivational message the Haitian Parliament sent out to the country when they honored Haitians who, in their respective fields, have used their influence to champion democracy, Haitian culture, freedom of expression and the rule of law. Among the group of awardees were four journalists who made the batch; Gary Pierre-Paul Charles from Scoop FM, Frantz Duval of Le Nouvelliste, Radio Vision 200's Marie Lucie Bonhomme and Anthony Pascal from Konpè Filo Tele Ginen.
