The All inclusive Royal Decameron Indigo Hotel was inaugurated in December 2015 in the presence of the Haitian President Michel Martelly.

The resort is equipped with 380 rooms, two a la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant, four bars, discotheque, two adult pools, two children's pools, one full fledged gymnasium, 2 tennis courts and a spa. 350 of the rooms have ocean views and 30 come with garden views. All rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Other features of the rooms include: Two double beds or one king size bed, air conditioning, safety deposit box (additional charges), cable television, medical and nursing services, bus service to the capital city and introductory scuba training. Breakfast (buffet style): 7:00 am to 10:30 am; Lunch: 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm; Dinner: 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Minimum two night stay is mandatory.

The all inclusive resort "Royal Decameron Indigo in Cote Des Arcadins" has been inaugurated on December 8th, 2015. The beachfront resort with 4 Hibiscus ranking has been developed on a 55 hectares land, bordered by 1.5 kilometers of white sandy beach, just 90-minute drive from the Toussaint Louverture International Airport. It is a jewel of Hispaniola Island, situated in a perfect location between mountains and ocean. "Royal Decameron Indigo" has been renovated over the property of "Club Indigo" with an investment of $8 million by the Colombia-based hotel and resort chain Decameron.

There is no better place to watch the sunset than at the Royal Decameron Indigo, Haiti.

The new 380-room property is equipped with a buffet restaurant, two a la carte restaurants and four bars, two adult pools and two children's pools, full fledged gymnasium, 2 tennis courts and a spa. Then the scheduled date of inauguration was decided on November 1, 2015 (later shifted to December 8th). 500 workers and 5 Haitian subcontractors would be employed to work day and night to meet the opening deadline. The Minister during his visit had said that the presence of government officials to visit the development work endorses his government's all inclusive support to the joint development program between Club Indigo and Decameron Hotels. As per the agreement, the rebranded property "Royal Club Decameron Indigo" will procure its regular requirements through local Haitian entrepreneurs so that it can create 500 local jobs and further employment of 420 local people to the hotel. The Decameron group has all-inclusive hotels in 11 countries around the world, including the Caribbean. Presently, there are 525 listed hotels in Haiti of whom five were ranked "5 Hibiscus" and seven were rewarded with "4 Hibiscus" rankings. The Haitian Ministry of Tourism has so far classified 177 hotel properties according to their service and amenities.

There is no place like home and this is the Beautiful Royal Decameron in Haiti.

'Royal Decameron Indigo' is a new all inclusive resort in Haiti located on the coast Arcadins (Cote des Arcadins), an hour's drive from Port-au-Price. It has been renovated over the property of "Club Indigo" on a 55 hectares land, bordered by 1.5 kilometers of white sandy beach and its recent takeover by the Colombia-based hotel and resort chain Decameron, was a best kept secret in the Caribbean. The deal was finalized in last March when Lucio Garcia, the CEO of the Decameron Chain visited the property and met the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) Stephanie Balmir-Villedroin to finalize the terms of the takeover. The Minister again visited the property on September 1, as the head of a large delegation team accompanying the Secretary of State for Tax Reform, Ronald Décembre, the Director General of Customs of Haiti, Victor H. St. Louis to meet Leonardo Gonzalez, the President and other senior members of the Decameron Hotels Group to finalize the group's $8 million investment on Club Indigo.

There have been some major improvement in the tourism area in Haiti. Beside all these new hotels that are beginning to pop up in several regions in Haiti, there are also ground packages for visitors by local operators. Training programs for taxi operators and the ongoing urban renewal program in Cap Haitien are likely to revive the tourist industry

Habitation Jouissant boutique hotel in Cap Haitien will become Marriott second hotel in Haiti as it will join the Autograph Collection in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Considering the flourishing Haitian tourism sector, Marriott International has announced its plan to extend the operation of "Autograph Collection Hotels "in Haiti by opening a second hotel in Haiti by the fourth quarter of 2017. Autograph Collection Hotels, a luxury hotel chain owned by Marriott International, founded in 2010, will add "The Habitation Jouissant" - a boutique hotel located in Cap-Haitien, to its impressive global portfolio. This property will be Marriott's second hotel in Haiti after Port-au-Prince, and Autograph's third hotel in the Caribbean after "The Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina" in the British Virgin Islands (2012), and "The Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas". 'Autograph Collection' hotels are strikingly unique independent hotels that offer the rich experiences of a hotel stay with all the benefits of Marriott loyalty points.

Here is a design picture of what to become Hilton Garden Inn in Port-au-Prince Louverture Airport. This luxury hotel is scheduled to open in 2017

On April 10, 2014, Ms. Karla Visconti, the Head of Communications for the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton Worldwide, had announced that "Hilton Garden Inn" has been scheduled to open in early 2017. The $26 million project has been designed by the Groupe CAB S.A, a new Haitian company created by the MAC S.A. group and the owner of the Visa Lodge. The hotel will be operated under the management of Hilton Worldwide Group. The facilities will include an 11 storied building with 152 rooms, full service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry with a selection of delicious meals, drinks and snacks and a lobby. The hotel will have a comfortable meeting space with 3 modular meeting rooms and a conference room, free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour business center. The recreational facilities will include an outdoor pool and a free fitness center with cardio equipments.

New resort scheduled to be open in Haiti soon by Royal Club Decameron Indigo

As per recent news dated April 17, 2015, "Decameron" a Colombia based hotel and resort chain will be opening an all inclusive modern resort in Haiti's Cote des Arcadins. The place is often termed as "one of the best-kept secrets in the Caribbean.". The 390 room property would include a buffet restaurant, two a la carte restaurants, five bars, two adult pools and two children's pools, along with a spa. Of the total 390 rooms, 350 will have sea views. The resort will be developed on the property of Club Indigo Resort at the site of former famous all inclusive Club Med property, now will be rebranded as the Royal Club Decameron Indigo.

The new jewel in the Spanish Occidental Hotels and Resorts' crown is the Rue Panamericaine located, 128-room, Royal Oasis Hotel. Developed by Jerry Tardieu, the hotel sits on three-acres of prime Port-au-Prince real estate and offers five restaurants, complete with their own bars. The plans for a convention center will add more reason for staying at this five-star hotel, Occidential's 13th hotel in the region.
