Here is a picture of Jean Bertrand Aristide with Nelson Mandela. The African Icon Nelson Mandela joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was heavily involved in popular resistance against the ruling National Party's apartheid policies after 1948.
After his political party, the ANC, was banning of in 1960, Nelson Mandela moved to the military wing within the ANC. Nelson Mandela was arrested in 1962 and sentenced. Later on, on June 12, 1964, Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Not much has been provided in term of information on Marie Denise Duvalier. However, little we know about her is that she is the legitimate daughter of former Haitian dictator Francois Duvalier and the older sister of former Haitian dictator Jean Claude Duvalier.
Jean Claude Duvalier in Court for the first time
The historic appearance in Court by Jean Claude Duvalier. This took place on February 28, 2013 in Port-au-Prince. Former Haitian dictator Jean-Claude Duvalier accused for corruption and human rights abuses came to court for the first time.
During the Court procedure, the 61-year-old Duvalier said when asked about his role as head of state from 1971 to 1986. He responded: "Under my authority, children could go to school, there was no insecurity."
The Victims in Court facing Jean Claude Duvalier Face to Face
This is one of the most historic moment in the history of Haiti. Former Haitian dictator Jean Claude Duvalier came to court to answer the accusations for the abuses taken place under his government.
Several alleged victims were present in the courtroom. Many of them expressed satisfaction that Duvalier had finally appeared to answer to his acts.
One of his victims, Alix Fils-Aime, said: 
"He will have to face history in court, just like other dictators around the world are facing,"
United Nations and Cholera in Haiti
The United nations has decided not to take responsibility for the cholera outbreak in Haiti. Several independent studies have concluded that they are in fact responsible. In addition to that, the UN has claimed full diplomatic diplomatic immunity
Ban Ki-moon, rejected claim for compensation filed in 2011 on behalf of cholera victims in Haiti, as "not receivable" because of the United Nations' has diplomatic immunity.

In Haiti, those are the people you usually see everywhere. They are in the street selling their goods, they are on the road toward various cities in Haiti early going to the market place to sell and also very late on the same roads, returning after a hard day of work with often little to no compensation for their sacrifices. They are the Madan Sara of Haiti. They travel to deliver produce and provide a large share of food to city dwellers.
It does not say there. These Haitian Madan Sara are also found in various countries in the Caribbean, South America and the US to buy products for the purpose of reselling in Haiti
Often dressed in bright colors with sharp tongue, the Madan Saras have survived throughout the years. Women in Haiti head more than 70% of Haiti's households by themselves
