Haitian Students Using Tactics From Henri Christophe To Build School

Here is a picture of some school children in Haiti carrying bricks on top of their heads to build a school on top of a mountain in Haiti.

As Haitians, doesn't that remind you of something back in the history of Haiti?

Isn't this the way Roi Henri Christophe built the Citadele Laferiere.

The only sad thing about this is that it has been close to 200 years ago since the Citadele was built and we did not know any better. Has there been any progress in Haiti since?
