The Cannibal Army was founded in the city of Gonaives.Its original name was not Cannibal Army but rather Popular Organization for the Development of Raboteau. the group was created in the mid 1980s under the stewardship of Amiot Metayer. The Cannibal Army was created to resist the dictatorial rule of Duvalier and was a major oppose of the 1991-1994 military regime.

A team of celebrity in several fields to get together to help in the reconstruction in Haiti. Former U.S. President, along with star Ben Stiller, and super-gallerist David Zwirner are teaming up in September to co-chairing a Fund raising event to benefit reconstruction in Haiti.

Guests of the Fund raising event that will be held in September by Bill Clinton, Ben Stiller and David Zwirner will be able to buy work of several famous artists some of which include Adel Abdessemed, Francis Al s, Mamma Andersson, Marlene Dumas, Chris Ofili, Raymond Pettibon, and Luc Tuymans.

Benjamin Edward Ben Stiller is an American comedian, actor, writer, film director, and producer. Herold lived in Santo Domingo for 17 years. He was popularly known for singing Haitian romantic music. He brought Haitian romantic music to Latin American market. He has done an album in Spanish which is yet to be released.

Here is Roger Colas Junior, the son of the former singer, Roger colas.

Though he was Septent's musician, Roger Colas was also a world performer who sang everywhere with or without Septent. He even sang with Tropicana, their competitors. He loved music so much that he saw it as food to his soul. He is the best male vocalist of all times.

Roger Colas passed away in a car accident on September 14, 1986.

This is Jean Pierre Baptiste alias Jean Tatoune . He is credited for not only opposing two governments but also worked to remove them from power. Namely Jean Tatoune was in part responsible to the removal of Jean Claude Duvalier from office as well as Jean Bertrand Aristide.
