It has been close to three Months sice Michel Martelly has been in power an so far he has not been able to to form a government. In the meantime, the president was in the city of Milot in the north of Haiti to Sans Souci palace and Citadele Laferriere. The aim of the visit is to promote tourism in Haiti. the president took the opportunity while on the ruins of the Sans Souci palace to let the population know the high importance he gives to the tourist sector in Haiti. President Michel Martelly told the crowd that he already made contacts and it is a matter of the local population to help him to make the plan a reality. The message was welcomed by the population of Milot as they feel that the president was clear in helping them to bring tourism in the region of Milot to visit the Sans Souci Palace and the Citadelle Laferiere

As the President of Kompa took a leave of absence, his son Sandro Martelly, took over as T-micky.

He just released his first music album. Like father like son, the band is called T-Micky to take after the band of his father Sweet Micky.

Even as a young boy, Sandro Martelly is not new to the music world. Since Sandro Martelly has been playng music for a long time, it seems like is the natural replacement for his father in the new President of Kompa.

Taiwan donates million to Dominican Republic for university campus in Haiti

The original plan of the Dominican Republic to build a University in Haiti received a push from a friendly country. Taiwan just donated $1.0 million to support the project. The Taiwan's diplomat handed the check today to head of the State Works Supervisory Office in the Dominican Republic.

The Government of the Dominican Republic came up with a plan to build a University in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. The proposed Haitian University which was made by president Leonel Fernandez is expected to have a capacity for 10,000 students. In addition, the University is to be equipped with the latest technologies of the 21st Century
