Just before the overthrow of the Duvalier regime, these propaganda acquired a strong negative connotation by having the public seeing it as too manipulative.

At the time you did not have any choise but to make such a sons and also for teh population to sing it.

Some propaganda are seeing as positive. Most of the propaganda used by the Duvalier were considered to be positive by the people included in the inner circle of the government. For those people, the Duvalier propaganda were considered objectively and then interpreted as positive or negative, depending on the perspective of the viewer or listener

The Executive Director of Haitian women in Miami, Ms. Marlene Bastien, also an activist is calling on the Obama administration to create Family Reunification Parole Program for Haitians as it is estimated that more than 105,000 Haitians are currently on a waiting list to enter the US.

The Haitian activist mentioned that a Cubans Family Reunification Parole Program has already been approved twice and that the Haitians need to receive same treatments
