Plan to provide housing by Haiti Recovery Commission, IHRC

Haiti Recovery Commission, IHRC, has unveiled a plan to remove 30,000 people from six tent cities and help them to go back home. IHRC will spend close to $78 million to make sure the project is materialized. The actual plan is rehabilitate a total of 16 neighborhoods around Port-au-Prince that were destroyed by the 2010 earthquake.

The Interim Haiti Recovery Commission headed by Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Prime Minister of Haiti, Mr. Jean-Max Bellerive was formed following the 2010 Haiti earthquake to ensure planning and implementation of the recovery efforts
