Haiti Not Able To Participate In The Booming Caribbean Tourism Industry

While Haitians have been fighting among themselves and create unfavorable conditions in Haiti for the tourist industry, other Caribbean nations have been doing very well in developing infrastructures and investing in campaigns to bring these tourists who arrive in the Caribbean to their specific countries. Take a look at this figures to see the number of tourists who visited the Caribbean in recent Months and their destination. By the way Haiti is not even included in that list because the number of Caribbean tourists who visited Haiti was insignificant.
Plan to provide housing by Haiti Recovery Commission, IHRC
Haiti Recovery Commission, IHRC, has unveiled a plan to remove 30,000 people from six tent cities and help them to go back home. IHRC will spend close to $78 million to make sure the project is materialized. The actual plan is rehabilitate a total of 16 neighborhoods around Port-au-Prince that were destroyed by the 2010 earthquake.
