Here is a picture of the Colombian singer Shakira talking to Sean Penn in Haiti. She arrived in Haiti following the earthquake to bring support to the victims of the quake.

Shakira has a foundation called Barefoot that provides nutrition to over 6,000 children in Colombia. She wants to open a school in Haiti for the children in need.

Named Beaver Country Day's MVP in November 2011, the Haitian-Japanese midfielder Zachary Herivaux is on his way to become a superstar in the world of soccer.

He is a member of the U15 US National Squad and the New England Revolution Academy. All is not lost in Haiti or for the Haitians. He has also been named one of the top five under 17 players to watch worldwide.
