All that efforts did not go in vain. Soon, the band Black Parents was able to mark their presence in the Haitian music industry

The first reevaluation of the Haitian currency was conducted in 1870. The Haitian gourde was revalued based on the market at the time. Ten gourdes were reevaluated and valued at one gourde. The notes were in denominations of 10 and 25 gourdes.
