Jean-Jacques Honorat, Prime Minister of Haiti

After the Coup D'Etat of 1992, Mr. Jean-Jacques Honorat was named prime minister of Haiti. The Military government at the time thought that by having Jean-Jacques Honorat in the position of Prime Minister, it would help the de facto government gain some international recognition. This did not happen. Other stated that he did not have enough time to work on the diplomatic front.

Jean-Jacques Honorat was removed from the position by the military-backed government in June 1992 as he was unable to convince the international community to lift sanctions against Haiti

Ertha Pascal-Trouillot, First Haitian Woman President

The first woman in Haitian history to become President, Ertha Pascal-Trouillot was born in August 1943. She became provisional President of Haiti in 1990 as she was chief justice at the time. She attended school at Lycée François Duvalier and was mentored by Ernst Trouillot who became her husband
Erta Pascal-Trouillot was a teenager when Duvalier took power and became the first woman justice of the Supreme Court of Haiti as a result of her excelling in school.

Pascal-Trouillot became interim president of Haiti, March 13, 1990; left office February 7, 1991, for duly elected president, Rev. Jean-Bertrand Aristide

US Ambassador Kenneth Merten to support PNH and judiciary

A new initiative to improve Haiti Police and Judiciary. According to US Ambassador Kenneth Merten, the US will fund the construction of a police station in Cité Soleil, a prison for women, the expansion of national penitentiary and the renovation of several other institutions across the country.
The Ambassador reiterated the commitment of the United States, to bring its contribute to the Police Nationale d'Haiti (PNH), and the judiciary. "We know that the security is essential to the stability that it is necessary to regain, if you want to reach the prosperity and the development of the country"
US Ambassador Merten wants to make sure that the Haitian population knows that the US government is committed to help Haiti create a stable and secure environment in Haiti as they are essential for economic development

Rene preval ended up doing two terms as president while Yvon Neptune ended up in Jail. Aristide for his part went on exile in South Africa

There is a connection to a previous killing recently at The Haiti National Police. He was part of the patrol of another officer whao was also killed recently.

Officer Walky Calixte was assassinated recently and the killing is currently under investigation

Based on information published by the Haitian media, policeman Walky Calixte was killed in Martissant 7. Some people have been pointing the finger at Deputy Rodriguez Sejour.

It has been reported on Haitian Radios that the driver of the Deputy Rodriguez Sejour was detained by police for having in his possession a weapon the Deputy says is his.
For his part, Deputy Rodriguez Sejour made it clear that he has nothing to do with the assassination of policeman Walky Calixte

Coincidently, another police officer who was close Walky Calixte, was assassinated by May, 2013. Jean Richard Hertz Cayo was assassinated in Savane Pistache, in Carrefour-Feuilles
