Twenty Nine School principals arrested for fraud in Haiti

The Minister of Justice in Haiti, Jean Renel Sanon, made it public that the Haitian government proceed in the arrest of 29 school principals in the region of Artibonite Departments. Most of the arrests were made in the City of GOnaives. It has been reported that this include bot public and private schools principals in the region.

It was also reported by some that the arrests were made with an intention to affect the next election in Haiti. One candidate for the Mayoral race in Gonaives in the next election is running in opposition to another candidate with connection with Youri Latortue, current advisor to President Michel Martelly

Jude Celestin became known in Haitian politic when he ran for the president of Haiti in the 2010 election. Many people see him as a figure who will be directed by former President Rene Preval. He is the son in-law of the former President and was handpicked for the UNITE platform, a political party created by Rene Preval.
According to is plan for Haiti in the election, Jude Celestin intends to empower people with disabilities, by providing education and opportunities to succeed in life.
