Claudy Gassant no longer chief prosecutor of Haiti
As chief prosecutor of corruption on a country filled with corruption like Haiti, Claudy Toussaint has been the the top cop since his return from exile. He was able to take on big businesses, wealthy individuals, and gangs
All came to an end recently.
The decision of Claudy Gassant to leave his position came after a week following an incident with Joseph Manes Louis of the Parquet of Port-au-Prince. His friend was let go for insubordination. Mr. Gassant finally gave stepped down in August 2008
