Septen, as its fans refer to the band, plays dynamic music, a full orchestral sound that includes polyrhythmic percussion instruments, and a full-bodied horn section. The band is an established Haitian institution that has survived political, social, and economic upheavals in Haiti for over 60 years and counting.

He was so proud to be from the North part of Haiti. Although Roger Colas had many opportunities to leave Cap-Haitien, he never left for a long time
