This is very interesting piece of information. According to a study done recently, many women in the region of Savanette in Haiti are getting pregnant and the reason suspected is because of a program established there to help pregnant women.

As part of a program to support mother and child, World Vision distributes food to pregnant women and mothers of children six to 23 months old. This program has also been offered vulnerable people like those living with AIDS an orphans

One of the sad thing that is currently occurring in Haiti is the case of young girls selling their body just to survive. According to recent studies, many teenage girl are involved in prostitution for food or shelter and since the 2010 earthquake, the situation has gotten worst. Since the earthquake, many of those girls were orphaned. There are no safe place for children who lost parent, shelter or relatives to go. They have been trying to survive the anyway possible.
