Political Confrontation in Haiti
This is one thing that is current in Haiti, Political Confrontation. This is a country that has had its share of crisis since its independence. Unfortunately, the Haitians have not been able to see that it is costing the country a great deal.
In Haiti, many of our politicians are not really interested in many of the issues that are affecting the population such as good school, health care, security, and others. For most Haitian politicians, what is immediate in their calendar is when will the next election in the country take place.
Because of the constant fight and crisis, the country has not been able to take off really. We need to think the real need for Haiti is not who is write or who is wrong, who is "Lavalace" or who is "Tet Kale", who is "Duvalierist or GNbist". The issue is Haiti and we are all in it
Soccer in Haiti
Soccer is considered "Sport Roi" or the King of sports for Haitians. Called foutbòl, the sports is being managed by the Fédération Haïtienne de Football which represents the governing body for football in Haiti.
The main stadiom to play football in haiti is Stade Sylvio Cator located in Port-au-Prince. The Haitian National team has made one memorable appearance at the FIFA World Cup, in 1974 in Germany
Our soccer may not be all that today, however, Haiti has one of the longest football traditions in the Caribbean
Working Together to make a better Haiti
Here is a picture that that is worth a thousand words. As you can see a group of Haitians working together to carry some materials. It is an example that I wish many more people can learn from. Learning to put our heads together to make the country more successful
Actually many would tell you this is exactly what we, Haitians, don't have that causes all the suffering.

Thinking, an intellectual exertion aimed at finding answer to question or the solution of a practical problem. Peope think differently an in a variety of ways. For some, they need to distance themselves to see things clearly. The ability to think can also be powerful as many people take the time to think before acting. The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too.
If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.
Don't choose the one who is beautiful to the world; choose the one who makes your world beautiful.
You can learn great things from your mistakes when you aren't busy denying them. Read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
In life, if you don't risk anything, you risk everything.

Welcome to Little Haiti in Miami
This section of Miami called Little Haiti neighborhood received its unofficial name in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This is following the large increase of the Haitian immigrants who came to the United States due to political crisis in their nation. Now an effort is being made to officially rename the area "Little Haiti" from the historic neighborhoods it largely absorbed over the years.
However there are resistances from many who want to keep the old name Lemon City. Marleine Bastien, executive director of Haitian Women of Miami and Gepsie Metellus, executive director of the Haitian community center Sant La are in support of that move
Pregnancy in Haiti
This is very interesting piece of information. According to a study done recently, many women in the region of Savanette in Haiti are getting pregnant and the reason suspected is because of a program established there to help pregnant women.
As part of a program to support mother and child, World Vision distributes food to pregnant women and mothers of children six to 23 months old. This program has also been offered vulnerable people like those living with AIDS an orphans

Metre André Michel in Jail
lawyer André Michel was arrested on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 on the road of Martissant by the National Police. this will likely cause revolt and demonstration from many sectors of the Haitian population, in particular members of the opposition. André Michel is a Human Rights Lawyer, who filed the corruption complaint against First Lady Sophia Martelly and her son Olivier
According to the report, the Human Rights Lawyer, police struggled to take Andre Michel from his car. André Michel requested the presence of his attorney which was not accorded. Many supporters were present during the arrest and started protesting by chanting against the Martelly administration.
Is Lavalas of Jean Bertrand Aristide destabilizing Martelly Government?
This is something that many supporters of the Martelly regime would want you to believe. They thing that all these recent demonstrations in the streets or positions taken by some prominent leaders have something to do with the Lavalas regime.
Some as a matter of fact even accused the Lavalas leader of paying some Senators or Deputies for manifesting publicly against the current government
Now do you think that Jean Bertrand Aristide has anything to do with the public protests that have been growing recently?
