Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide still a popular leader
Here is former Haitian President and still popular leader of the Lavalas political Party, Jean Bertrand Aristide, with the supporting crowd, following his court hearing. He was accompanied by several elected officials such as Moise Jean Charles, John Joel Joseph, MP Saurel hyacinth. Dr. Maryse Narcisse who was at all time with the former lavalas leader, said that: "The Haitian people love him and today they showed their affection and attachment to him,"
Jean Bertrand Aristide Blowing Kisses to supporters
For the first time since his return from Exile, former Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide has a chance to greet his supporters. Whether it was mistake from the current power in place of just having the judicial system to work independently, Aristide took the opportunity to tour Port-au-Prince. It came following a three-hour, closed-door hearing with a Haitian investigative judge.
Aristide was summoned as part of the ongoing murder investigation of the unsolved assassination of famous journalist Jean Léopold Dominique.

Bill Clinton And Jean-Bertrand Aristide
Here is a picture of former President Bill Clinton and Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Thes two have a log history.
For most of the 1990s Haiti was often in the news as it just elected the populist priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide to the presidency position. However, one year later, Aristide was removed from power by a military coup.
Consequently many Haitians got on boats headed to the U.S. Promising to return Aristide into power when elected. Bill Clinton eventually returned Jean-Bertrand Aristide into power
For the first time in U.S. history, they used force to return a deposed president into power

Michel Martelly Meets Jean Bertrand Aristide In Reconciliation
Did you expect to see a picture like this in our lifetime? The current president Michel Martelly meets with Jean Bertrand Aristide on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
The two leaders appear to be fun of eachother. This was not the case a few years ago when Michel Martelly was openly opposed to the presidency of Jean Bertrand Aristide.
However, it seems that the past stays in the past and both Michel Martelly and Jean Bertrand Aristide are willing to forget about the past for a better future for Haiti
Aristide and Duvalier, so much in common
It is interesting to see how two of the most controversial leaders in Haiti manage to have so much in common. In this, I want to refer to Former Haitian Dictator Jean Claude Duvalier and former president Jean Bertrand Aristide. Take a look as the following striking similarities:
1) Both Jean Claude Duvalier & Jean Bertrand Aristide have passionate fanatics
2) Both have been accused of making million by stealing from the government.
3) Both Jean Claude Duvalier and Jean Bertrand Aristide went on exile.
4) Duvalier and Aristide came back from exile within the same year.
5) Duvalier & Aristide were visited at home by Michel Martelly.
6) On February 28, 2013, Jean-Claude Duvalier went to Court. On May 8, 2013, Aristide went to Court.
Does that mean, if one goes to prison, the other would follow?
