The Haitian soccer team took the lead with a spectacular goal from Emmanuel Sanon against Italy. Haiti Soccer team eventually lost 3-1. The goal accomplished by Emmanuel Sanon for the Haitian team was in fact one classified in the history book.

A new layout for the city of Port-au-Prince is estimated to cost $3,300,000,000,000.00. The Mayor of Port-au-Prince came up with a plan
to rebuild Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. However, it is not cheap. This plan that was developed by the Haitian Center for Research in Management and Development (CHRAD) is expected to transform the city into a modern city, responding to all the norms and expectation of the modern life. The Plan was submitted to president Michel Martelly. The sources of funding to make the project or this plan become a reality was not identified

A television show about the 2010 earthquake earned an award for the Miami Herald. "Nou Bouke" documents the effect of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. The recording was a project from several medial in South Florida. The Miami Herald, in association with WPBT 2 and local public television PBS made that possible.

Currently, Larose has a new band, Excell Comp s, and a new CD Lanmou Fou. Two other projects have also absorbed him, a new recording studio for budding musicians, and a book, I Sing for Humanity. In it, Larose writes about human dignity, the confusion surrounding money as the focal point of life's purpose, and his perceptions of other people.
