Jacqueline Charles of Miami Herald on Haiti tent babies

In an interview with John Yearwood, Jacqueline Charles of the Miami Herald said that Tent babies in Haiti are booming. The Caribbean correspondent, Jacqueline Charles, who is also Haitian began to notice an explosion of babies under the tent in Haiti. She noticed that after the 2010 earthquake, Haiti began to have a baby boom and she attributed that to transactional or survival sex.

A recent study revealed that pregnancy rate in Haitian tent cities are three times higher than those outside of the tent.
