Dieudonne Larose was at one point with the group Africa Express and then later on to Shoogar Combo. he had to leave the country in 1987, due to the political problems in Haiti.

The Hope for Haiti Now Telethon featured artists such as Madona, Rihana, string, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Coldplay and Sheryl. Also a list of celebrities such as former president Bill Clinton, Leonard DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman and Samiel L. Jackson addressed the audience.

Paul Altidor at first headed a non-profit organization. He then went ahead and taught at the cole Sup rieure Catholique de Droit de J r mie, a law school in his home town and started a small motorcycle business. Paul Altidor then went to work for the international finance corporation where he was a member of the World Bank and where his job description included advising various countries on the various economic issues and how to achieve them.
