Haiti is not a country that focuses on export. It is considered to be among the countries with a weak export capacity. If you take the year 2008, Haiti exported for a total of $490 million worth of goods. Their primary customers include the United States (70.7%), Dominican Republic (8.9%), and Canada (3.1%). Some of the products include: apparel, oils, cocoa, mangoes, coffee and some manufactured goods.

Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway on Haiti Relief

Miami Heat and the Americans Airlines Arena launched a Haiti Relief drive to support the people affected by the earthquake. Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway were on Hand to receive donation for the relief effort. They are encouraging people to give and contribute. Alonzo Mourning was in Haiti recently to help.

Both Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway are former American professional basketball players, who played with the Miami Heat. Mourning made a comeback after undergoing a kidney transplant and later won his first NBA Championship with the Heat. Tim Hardaway was one of the league's best point guards. He was best known for his devastating crossover dribble.
