Ernst 'ZeNono' Jean-Baptiste wants to replace Sepp Blatter as head of FIFA
Ernst "ZeNono' Jean-Baptiste (59), a soccer legend who has coached and represented Haitian national football, a former player of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers believes that the way the world soccer governing body 'FIFA' is conducting its business is not fair; most of the things are done behind the close door; it is needed to be cleansed. On September 29, at the Central Broward Stadium in the presence of several Haitian dignitaries, including former Prime Minister Gerard Latortue while launching his campaign "For the Purity of the Game'' to oust the FIFA President Sepp Blatter and replace himself in his seat, he has announced his agenda to the press. If he wins the February 26 election, he would ensure a fairer distribution of funds, more diversity in the leadership, bring transparency in the game, there will be more involvement of former players, and less bureaucracy in the management.

André Michel is a lawyer, a member of the Bar of Port-au-Prince (Haiti), an international defender and Professor of Human Rights at the University. Because of his dedicated social commitment, he has been a constant subject of threats and political intimidation by the established authorities. On September 25th, he has announced that he is walking out of the electoral race because he believes, the Provisional Electoral Council does not have the credibility to hold elections in Haiti. Recently, on September 26, there was a political firefight on Haitian radio Ranmase (most popular political talk show, a CNN version of Crossfire) between André Michel and the Minister of Communication Rudy Heriveaux. The debate between them crossed the limits of all civilized manner because, after one point of time, they were incapable to structure their arguments. All expected decency from two intellectual politicians were out of the window and the radio show was turned into a mud bath.

On Wednesday, September 30, outside the residence of the twice-ousted Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, thousands of Fanmi Lavalas party supporters were chanting, singing and waving photos of Aristide and music blared from loud speakers while they were waiting eagerly to listen few words of their favorite leader. In the early evening Aristide appeared with Maryse Narcisse outside his walled property. Standing on the back of a pickup truck alongside Narcisse, he delivered a seven minute speech before his 2,000 odd supporters and that prompted loud cheers and applause. He criticized the role of the present electoral authority and described their process of conducting an election is rather a mere process of 'selection'. He called on his supporters to ensure that the party chief, Maryse Narcisse wins the election and becomes the President of the nation.
Dr. Maryse Narcisse holds an impressive resume as an advocate for health care and human rights for Haiti's poor majority. Following the ousting and exile of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide on Feb. 29, 2004 and after Maryse's return to Haiti in October 2007, she was once , taken at gunpoint in the front of her home as she was the second high-profile figure of the Lavalas movement, supporter of Aristide. After Aristide's exile in 2004, she became the personal spokesperson for President Aristide and was instrumental in creating an international voice for the Lavalas movement. Dr. Narcisse was appointed as the director of the Aristide Foundation for Democracy and she took several trips to meet Aristide in South Africa and acted as his official spokesperson in Haiti. She also serves on a five-member Executive Committee for Fanmi Lavalas.
Haitian President Rene Preval And Wyclef Jean

Wyclef was appointed as a roving ambassador of Haiti by Rene Preval. These two have met in several occasions. After Wyclef entered the race for the Presidency of Haiti, Rene preval met with him for more than two hours. According to Jean, the meeting was positive.
Also a few days after Wyclef was removed from the list of candidates, President Preval surprisingly called him on stage at an event at the Clinton Global initiative and said He has made the plight of Haiti visible throughout the world even before the earthquake,''
Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Along With Wyclef Jean In Haiti

Chelsea Clinton email Dad, Mom on Haitian relief incompetence
Chelsea Clinton in an email to her mother and father explained some of the problems see has been able to observe regarding the Haitian relief efforts.
Recently, on September 1, the U.S State Department has released an email from Chelsea Clinton, addressed to her "Dad" and "Mom". In the email sent, sometime in 2010 after Chelsea's four days visit to Haiti, she did warn her parents that the United Nation's handling of international relief efforts in Haiti excepting UNICEF was a disaster; an immediate change in the organization, management, accountability and delivery paradigm on the ground is needed. Otherwise, we have to confront with the deaths of thousands of children of diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid and other water-related diseases in the near future. Her criticisms were mainly focused on the efforts of the UN and international NGOs. She had described the UN people as "frequently out of touch," "anachronistic at best and arrogant and incompetent at worst," The story does not end here....
During the period when Hillary Clinton was with the State Department as Secretary of State between January 21, 2009 to February 1, 2013, the USAID had disbursed $3.6 billion for Haitian "earthquake relief". Haitian lawyer and human rights activist, Ezili Dantò has accused Bill Clinton responsible for $6 billion collected on account of Haitian relief fund. Dantò has claimed that only 1% of this amount was made available to the Haitian government.
New Haitian soldiers formed by Ecuadorian army
Here is a group of 40 new Haitian soldiers formed by Ecuadorian army.
On Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Training School of Ecuadorian Army soldiers (Escuela de Formación de Soldados del Ejército) at the Champ de Mars located at the northern exit of Ambato, the third city at the south of Ecuadorian capital city Quito, a graduation ceremony was held for 40 new Haitian soldiers of engineering body. The graduation ceremony was chaired by the Brigadier General, Edison Narváez Rosero, the Commander of the Command of Education and Doctrine of the Army (CEDE). The ceremony was witnessed by other Ecuadorian military personnel like General Carlos Obando and Commander of the Army Division, Christian Toussaint. The Haitian Ambassador in Ecuador José Maria Egas, Undersecretary of the Ministerial Cabinet and civil and military authorities were also present during the occasion. The New graduates have completed a training program of 8 months under the framework of bilateral cooperation between Haiti and Ecuador that started on January 12, 2015.
