Kiko Saint Remy, Brother of First Lady Sophia Saint Remy Martelly
Sonson Lafamilia and his accomplice Renel Lecref, these two criminal leaders of the Galil gang jointly worth an unaccounted annual valuation of$44 million. They were involved in numerous cases of kidnapping, false imprisonment against claims of ransom, money laundering, murder, drug trafficking, and criminal conspiracies. They were arrested and booked several times against serious culpable crimes, but released every time with highly questionable legal orders. Kiko Saint Remy, the brother of the First Lady Sophia Martelly is a known drug trafficker. He was once a business partner of Sonson La Familia alias Woodly Etheard aka SOS. They used to run a restaurant business named "La Souvenance" located at Morne Brun, in Petionville which used to supply food at the National Palace and other important government departments of the country.
Once, Clifford Brandt, an alleged kidnapper, the son of a prominent Haitian businessman and one among the 329 inmates who escaped from a Haitian prison (but was subsequently recaptured in August 2014), had revealed to the U.S investigators that 'Kiko Saint- Remy', the brother in law of Haitian President Michel Martelly is the second most important person in a kidnapping ring. By the end of the last year, when political pressure against Martelly was mounting, Kiko took part in an anti government protest on November 18, 2014, and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe. Kiko accused him on charges of masterminding political arrests, exploiting justice, neutralizing competitors, operators and activists. Kiko is one of President Martelly's closest clan and a man in his inner circle; he fights for Martelly's control of territory. Now, without Lamothe, President's Tet Kale Party (PHTK) will be able to use $44 million from the fund of a free man named 'Sonson La Familia' who had been released through an unlawful procedure. PHTK can clear the candidacy of Martelly's wife, fund campaigns and buy fraudulent votes for the party.

Instead of seeing the country's devastation, Donna saw Haiti's potential through the eyes of creativity. She felt it was really important to give them something so that they can help them with their enormous artisan talents and she decided to create a holistic community--a community which will be created through the preservation own culture and native art using indigenous resources like tobacco leaves, metal works, stone, etc. Donna Karan has teamed up with 'Parsons the New School for Design' from Manhattan to train Haitian artisans through the Urban Zen foundation by providing models of sustainable commerce through DOT or "The Design, Organization, Training Center" for emerging artists in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Sophia Saint Remy Martelly born in New York, running for Haiti Senate
Here is a picture of Haiti First Ladt, Sophia Saint Remy Martelly. She was born in New York City but decided to run for a senate seat in Haiti
The First Lady Sophia Saint Remy Martelly was born in New York, USA. On the last day of submitting nominations for contesting to be elected to the Senate, she has registered her candidacy for the seat on behalf of her husband's center-right liberal "Tèt Kale Party (PHTK)". Her friends often term her as "the power behind the throne" while her enemies describe her as "iron lady." However, Article 96 (1) of the Haitian constitution may put a stop to all her moves on the presidency issues. The related provision reads like that......" To be elected to the Senate, a person must be a native born Haitian and never have renounced his nationality". She renounced her Haitian citizenship in 1989, because then she used to spend more time in U.S and before 2011, dual citizenship was not permitted in the Haitian constitution. She has registered her nomination, perhaps purposely, on the final day so that it just leaves 3 days before the Department Electoral Offices (BEDs) to receive and review any complaints or objections on the candidacies and publish the names of the approved candidates on May 1. It is a big issue before the BED to decide its credibility.

His vessels carrying cargos of sugar do not belong to his company. A Freight American company chartering boats for NABATCO receives payments of the freight and is fully responsible for the contents of the cargo loaded on the ships. These cargos are accepted under the supervision of Colombian port authorities, checked by the narcotics control authorities and the security service before leaving the port of Buenaventura. NABATCO is nothing more than a vessel owner, and cannot be held responsible for any act performed beyond the limits its knowledge.
