MOPOD, no consultation but negotiation on all the points with Michel Martelly
Opposition Outrageous Demands Preclude Meeting
The Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition (MOPOD) is refusing to sit down with President Martelly and work out issues concerning the Provisional Electoral Council and early general elections. MOPOD wants an increasing political agenda to be acceded to before it will hold discussions, or it will ask for Martelly's resignation.
MOPOD is mobilizing nationally to force the Martelly-Lamothe government to meet its demands, or else it will ask Martelly to leave the country. Opposition G6 Senators however are open to a dialogue with Martelly.

Sauveur Pierre Etienne did not pull punches while on air with Caraibes FM, speaking about Haitian President Michel Martelly. The National Coordinator of OPL stated that President Martelly's move now to push forth the long-awaited amendment to the constitution will be a disastrous one for him. He puts forward that that action would mean the President's resignation. Professor Etienne isn't the only one who believe the publishing of this constitutional amendment would be an error for the Martelly administration. Professor Jean Vernet Larose also believes it will cause more harm that what it would solve.

It finally happened, the meeting between the Haitian President, Michel Martelly and members of G6 finally took place. Here is a picture of the President with Senators: John Joël Joseph (West), Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé (Northeast), Jean William Jeanty (Nippes) and Francky Exius (South). The remaining two Senators of the G6, Moise Jean Charles and Westner Polycarpe declined the invitation.
The met in the objective to find a solution to the current crisis in Haiti. The government has not been able to hold election for three consecutive years.

Lamarre Belizaire issued arrest warrant against Joel Edward "Pasha" Vorbe
Judge Lamarre Belizaire is taking his fight to the next leader of the Lavalas party. On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, Joel Edward "Pasha" Vorbe of the Lavalas Party has been served with an arrest warrant.
The Haitian judge did not appreciate the fact that he summoned the Haitian businessman to come in front of him and he did not show up

According to a recent order issued by Judge Lamarre Belizaire, the former Haitian President has been put on House Arrest to determine his involvement in an ongoing criminal investigation into corruption and drug trafficking allegations,
Under the order from Judge Lamarre Belizaire, no one is allowed to visit the former president unless they receive explicit approval from the Judge.
Arnel Belizaire on Hunger strike
Here is a picture of Deputy Arnel Belizaire as he started his 20th day in a hunger strike. After several confrontation with the govvernment of Michel Martelly, some physical like his arrest at the airport, he has decided to communicate with the public by starting a hunger strike. The Deputy has listed several reasons for his strikes. He wants Arnel Alexis Joseph to be removed at the head of CSPJ and also all political prisoners in Haiti to be released.
Arnel Belizaire started his Hunger Strike on July 21, 2014, from inside the Chamber of Deputes.
Arnel Belizaire did communicate to the public during his hunger strike that he did not rule out the possibility to fight in the future, with arms in hand.
The El Rancho Accord

Result of the "Haitian political and inter-institutional dialogue" from January 24 to March 142014
The accord contains 14 items. Among them, allowing the sharing of power, offering vote of law whose one on land, addressing the withdrawal of the Mission of UN peacekeepers and election plans for 2014.
Maryse Narcisse, Pasha Vorbe and Antony Dessources
The political party of Haiti's former president, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, again made news when three of its representatives, Maryse Narcisse, Pasha Vorbe and Antony Dessources, turned up to the first day of the Inter-Haitian dialogue, despite previously standing against their party's participation in the event. While present, the group said they would remain cautious and were only there to hear the proceedings. They reserved the right to withhold proposals for now and leave if agendas did not complement their initiative.
