The journalist Valery Numa of Vision 200 involved in major car accident

According to Radio Caraibes, the journbalist Valery Numa of Vision 200 is involved in a major car accident. The report stated that he was in a coma and badly injured.

After more than 17 years as a journalist and 10 years in Viision 2000, Valery Numa decided to call it quit. He returned to his birth place in Camp-Perrin where he owned his own radio station station Platinum.

Former journalist and appointed Haitian Culture Minister Choiseul Henriquez died

Choiseul Henriquez, the new Minister of Culture and Communication, died of a brain hemorrhage on Friday while in Ottawa. Prior to his urgent transfer to a Hospital in Ottawa in Canada, Choiseul Henriquez was hospitalized at the Canape Vert Hospital in Port-au-Prince.

Choiseul was nominated to serve as minister of culture and communication in October. However, he was never sworn in due to health problems. Prior to the nomination, he was press secretary during the Preval presidency and Henriquez was also a journalist.
