Bossa Combo And Haiti During The 1970s
The Group Bossa Combo will always be considered a legendary music band in Haiti. Bossa Combo was popular both inside and outside Haiti during the 1970s. It originally comprised of ten band members including Raymond Cajuste and Shubert Gehy on vocals, Rodrigue Toussaint on guitar, Emile Dernest on guitar accompaniment, Ernst Volcy on bass guitar.
Dieudonne Larose And Missile 727
Missile 727, which became more popular with every album it released. Larose made six albums with Missile 727, among them Rasamble, Misyou, Joli Minou, and Demokrasi. One of their albums that out-sold any other Haitian band was Mandela, named after South African President Nelson Mandela.

Their success was short lived as they were eliminated soon after their performance in Orlando, Florida.

Mickael Guirand, Carlo Vieux And Richard Cave Of Carimi
Carimi band is a group of nine musicians and the main genre of music they play is the Kompa. The Band was started by three members and later grew to a nine member group. The three members were Mickael Guirand, Carlo Vieux and Richard Cave and at the time they had met in New York. They had left their home country as a result of the prevailing political uncertainty.
