The legacy of Nemour Jean-Baptiste. W ber, after leaving Conjuncto International, had developed his own dance music that resembled Comp's in many respects. The feud between Nemour and W ber eventually made its way into the two musicians songs, in which they dissed one another.

Many people have criticized the former Zenglen band player Nickenson Prud homme for suddently leaving the band to for his own Harmonik. Do you think this was a good decision from his part?

As far as I am concerned. I woud not call the move by Nickenson Prud homme to leave Zengle, a group that was doing very well at the time to take the rist of creating a new band such as Harmonik a good thing.

I think if Prud'Home remained with Zenglin, it would have been more positive for the Haitian Kompa music. This is something that we see often. Once a band member thinks he is good, the first thing that comes to mind is to leave his band an to creta his own.

One of the most successful album of the Haitian musical band so far is Jere'm. This album so far has been taking the fan of Haitian kompa music by storm. Here is a picture of the haitian band Harmonik in America's Got Talent 2010. This wa a big thing for the group as this presentation was the biggest opportunity for them to be seen at an international level.

Unfortunently the group Harmonik was eliminated from the show America's Got Talent, 2010 edition. As a consequense to their participation at the America's Got Talent 2010, it was not possible for them to participate in yet another great show whic is the annual Kompa festival for that year

Kompas is a basic form of musical entertainment that has become very common in the Caribbean. In the recent years the Kompa genre has gained tremendous popularity as a result of a growing band known as the Carimi band.

They had a common perspective and passion towards music and this formed the basis of a successful start of the Carimi band. The name Carimi comes from the first letters of their three names. In the year 2011, they released their first single song which is known as Ayiti Bang, Bang. This song was based on the situation in their homeland at that moment and as result it became a huge hit in Haiti because felt that the Carimi band identified with their needs as well as situation.

Elements of Vikings d Haiti's music inspired the great Compas band Kassav through its co-founder, Pierre Edouard Decimus, a former member of Vikings d Haiti.
