Bill Clinton helped launch housing program in Haiti with Building Back Better Communities
Here is a picture of the former president of the U.S., Mr. Bill Clinton as he helped launch a housing project in Haiti. This project was for objective to provide housing to the many Haitians who were displaced by Haiti earthquake. Former President Bill Clinton
The Building Back Better Communities exposition provided a collection of about 40 different housing styles that came out of a competition of over 400 candidates. The average cost of these houses will be between $10,000 and $35,000. There are both earthquake and hurricane resistant and are between 300 and 700 square feet
Forces Arme D'Haiti occupied Camp Lamantin 54
New development in the issue related to the re-establishment of the Haitian Military. According to information provided by Radio Caraibes FM, the Old Haitian Military known as Forces Arme D'Haiti that was disbanded by former president Jean-Bertrand Aristide is back in function.
They already occupied Camp Lamantin 54 and some other facilities left vacated by the old Haitian Military known as Forces Armees D'Haiti (FADH).
According to a spoksperson for the new Haitian Military force, they have the right to be in function as it is stated in the Haitian constitution
Statue of Jorge (Georges) Biassou in St. Augustine
Here is a picture of the Haitian general Jorge (Georges) Biassou as it was officially approved by the authorities in St. Augustine to erect a life-size statue to honor him.
Jorge (Georges) Biassou was the highest ranking Spanish officer in St. Augustine during the 1700's. he was also one of the leaders in the Haitian revolution that eventually created the firest black nation in the new world
Statue of Jorge (Georges) Biassou arrived in St. Augustine in 1796 and became a decorated Spanish general.
